Late Work Policy – Mr. Lovrien

Assigned work needs to be in on time – it is assigned for a reason and keeping up with the work helps you get the most out of lecture, labs and discussions. For this reason, I don’t generally accept late work; however, we all have things come up that might occasionally keep us from getting work in on time. Each student is allowed to turn in one assignment per semester without the grade being docked. If you want to turn in late work, the assignment must meet the following conditions:

The work needs to be in the next day – this exception is meant for that night when we have numerous things come up and we need one more day to catch up. Don’t try to turn in things more than one day past the due date.

I don’t accept work that has already been graded – if we grade it in class or the graded work has been returned, it is too late to turn it in for any credit.

You must print off this sheet and explain why the work wasn’t done on time in your paragraph below.

To get credit, you must write a paragraph that includes the reason the paper wasn’t done on time and an explanation of the rules on late work (see my syllabus).
