Power Point Assignment.

You can put together a Power Point for one chapter for the year. The assignment is worth 30 points (a small test).  The PP should include the following:

I.  Notes from one Chapter (or a common theme, such as plants or evolution)

     a. Unique, reasoned organization (don't copy my outline or simply follow the book sections)

     b.  Include 15 relevant images (sourced)

     c.  Focus on misconceptions - memory tricks, insightful questions

     d.  20 multiple choice questions (include 5 options, A - E)

II.  Study guide to follow Omnivores Dilemma

     a.  Select a 30 - 50 page section of Omnivores Dilemma and create reading questions to accompany the text. 

         Create 15 multiple choice questions and 5 short  answer questions.

      b.  Create a science concept sheet to accompany the reading. 

           The sheet can consist of a 15 multiple choice questions or an outline of the science concept. 

           The concept sheet should be at a level appropriate for an AP course.

          e.g. What is organic vs inorganic molecule?;  10% rule; Carbon or nitrogen cycle; nutrients in plants
